I hate this writing online, digitally, for all to see just as much as you do. But I really do believe it's an important part of the invention process, so I will do it. Bear with me. And I promise to bear with you as well.
The first reading is Stephen North's article on writing centers, and we'd like you to post your reaction to the article in terms of what you expect will be expected of you as a writing tutor. Do you predict that North's frustrations that folks regard writing centers as grammar fix-it shops will be your own once you start tutoring? Or, have times changed since the 80's when North wrote this?
